Bob, your are 74, you say. Actuarially, longevity-wise, those risks are building.

Please hang around a while. They don't give Nobel's when rigor mortis has set in. And I have no idea where NAIE would fit in to the Nobel architecture, but I hope it does.

So a public thank you from me for what you have, are, and will teach me.

Actuarially, I am not far behind you. My age is a mirror prime. Ah, that's easy then!

Before the upcoming ISO/GHGP discussion with the E-Ledgers folk, might you use NAIE for good input to the chair of that discussion (guess who?!) so a proper root cause analysis emerges of the issues?

Mike

Bob: this is a fascinating article, especially as a former anthropologist who teaches climate and sustainability, and is also deeply engaged in a similar experiment with AI. A few quick comments: 1. I had forgotten that I subscribed to your Substack, and wasn’t aware that you were the (co-)author until you are referenced at the end. Interesting that I knew about your AI co-authors and your human co-author mentioned at the top, but you were absent or at least de-centered. Second, you reference the relevance of this new field NAIE to climate and sustainability, but I don’t see much that actually speaks to that here - this is one of my experiences with AI co-authorship is that it will signal exploration of a topic but then just gloss over it with hand-waving text, not original insight. Anyway, I look forward to your book, and perhaps we will have an opportunity to exchange ideas on this topic over time.
